What to Expect at Your First Visit
Your first visit runs about 45 minutes. You’ll start with a full consultation covering your health history, your main complaint, and your goals. From there we run a detailed exam – orthopedic and neurological testing, palpation, range of motion, postural analysis, and digital X-rays on-site. Most patients are seen the same day.
Your second visit is your result of tests. We walk you through exactly what we found, how we can help, how long it’s likely to take, and what the cost looks like. Then we get started.

I suffered thru the summer with some awful back & hip pain to the point where I was almost debilitated. My first adjustment made such a huge difference that I was able to mow my lawn for the first time in months with minimal discomfort. I don't know why I waited so long to try chiropractic manipulation.

The medical masseuse, Geno, at this practice is outstanding!! For many years I have dealt with chronic pain from an old car accident and unfortunately cannot see a chiropractor due to the issues in my spine (I hear they’re amazing here though!). But after hitting many roadblocks for nerve and joint pain with multiple neurologists and therapists, I finally found something/someone that has a true impact on my wellbeing and reduced my chronic pain significantly. Do you take my insurance?
HealthFirst Chiropractic is in-network with most major insurance plans. The best way to confirm your coverage is to contact our office directly our team can verify your benefits before your first visit.
Will I get adjusted on my first visit?
Most patients are not adjusted on day one – that’s the consultation and exam visit. Your first adjustment typically happens at visit two, after we’ve reviewed your tests and presented your care plan.
Do I need X-rays?
In most cases, yes. Digital X-rays are taken on-site at your first visit and are a key part of our Gonstead analysis. They allow us to see exactly what’s happening structurally before we make any adjustments.
Do adjustments hurt?
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable adjustments are. There may be some mild soreness after the first few visits as your body adapts, but the adjustment itself is not painful for the vast majority of patients.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to see a chiropractor. You can contact either office directly to schedule your first visit.
